“Gio” Ponti was one of the most significant writers, designers and essayists of the 20th century. He created a significant quantity of work in the furniture industry in addition to the outstanding architectural creations that bear his distinctive character. The Italian industrial designer Gio Ponti popularized the idea of “elegant,” “cost effective,” “progressive,” and modern interior furniture lines. Gio Ponti’s furniture and other limited edition products were relaunched under the direction of Molteni&C. The collection was displayed at the 2012 Salone Del Mobile after a protracted process of research, prototype selection, and analysis.
